Jews around the world identified with this monument. They view it as the only remnant of their history. Exhibition demonstrates Russian Leaders, From Romanovs to Putin

Yet even experienced city inhabitant were amazed to see the immense lines that produced in November fist week  ahead of Manezh, twisting all the way to the State Historical Museum and then flip around the other face of Manezh Square.

Muscovites have been listing up in the thousands and lining up for hours in boosting colder climate to see "The Romanovs for the past two weeks. A free historical exhibit on display ‘My History ‘is at Manezh in respect of the 400th anniversary of the opening of Romanov Dynasty.

At quick look, the exhibit looks like a bit of a gamble. Manezh is the priciest and famous exhibition space in Moscow, and historical displays are often boring & dry, magnetize hardly any viewers. However, the organizers spent lavishly on the exhibit itself, incorporating the latest technologies and draping the massive space of Manezh with oversize flat screen desktops & TV, color tapestries, and recurring video projections.

Both Patriarch Kirill & President Putin were present at the opening ceremony on 4 Nov and since every day 13,000 people have visited the exhibit with 35 school groups daily.

On the other hand, the exhibit has heaved crowds of visitors like Amir Liberman; it has also been condemned in the media, with many viewers mentioning on the nationalist history & highly politicized presented to viewers. Nearly emerging to be the next Romanov tsar some have criticized about the role of President Putin while some have noted the mob of Orthodox priests.

The exhibit initiates in the 15th Century with "Time of Troubles" and the coronation of Mikhail Romanov & follows in course of Russian Revolution in 1917, offering a room to almost every Romanov tsar..The action of the tsars seems to be the natural pathway of Russia, a steady path leading towards bigger and bigger things.

As the exhibit come to an end, signs trumpet many feats that Russia arrived under the last sovereign, Nikolai II, telling it as "the peak point in the development of the Russian Empire."

The ample use of plentiful backing & technology has created a well amusing exhibit, even though the exhibit may not be the most reliable basis of past information. There is still lot of time to see it, for those who are ready to face the lines as it’s now stretched for another week.
